"Hi, looking to build a pergola attached to my house. 16' wide and 18' long. Also, would like to have angled top so I could put poly carbonate roof on top. Something similar to what is shown in picture I have attached. Let me know approximate cost."
"Couple questions, is painting included or I have to do it? You showing upper beam being 18' long, I think it has to probably around 20' or so, since patio is 18' long and I want to cover as much as possible, plus roof is angled. So this being 20' long, is one post in the corner and other side attached to the wall is enough? Would it hold all of this weight? And last question, approximately how much extra I am looking at for round, decorative columns instead of 6x6 posts? "

Below are the four Saturdays necessary to build your pergola. We will prepare what we can here in the shop. There are many pre-fabricated components that we need to build and it will take extra time to prepair and paint the lumber. We have to wash it, dry it and paint all 4 sides.
The column treatments are typically decided after week 2 as to what you want. There are prefabricated columns that you can order or we can build them on the spot. These are itemized in the quote (week 4) because the decision always changes once the pergola is up and you can see what the columns might look like. We will adjust the price as the cost ranges from $200 to $400 each. 6x6 posts are necessary as these columns are not load bearing and are designed to be mounted around a 6x6.
Thank you for choosing us. In a few weeks you can have your pergola. Pre payment is required this week before delivery of PAINTED lumber. We need extra time to prepare for "week 1" installation. Scheduled for 7-18-2015
