Top Trellis Removal and Repair with new rafters:
- Remove all electric lines from pergola
- Remove all rotted lumber from top trellis of the pergola
- Careful not to harm the existing plant/vines
- Repair with notched 2x6 cedar rafters secure with long screws
- Add 2x2 trellis for dense shade on top of the rafters at 10 inches
Top Rafter Repair Not all 8 save the good ones:
- Removal of all rotted 2.5x10x20 foot lumber.
- Inspect top rafters and decide on replacement quantity.
- Remove rafter, duplicate perfectly, stain/paint to match and replace
- Note: Each main rafter is $1,400.00 (add as needed.)
Four Column Posts Repair:
- Removal of all rotted lumber.
- Take the existing for style match
- Rebuild from the bottom up with to exactly the same design.
- Paint/Stain Caulk and Secure
